Violet’s an artist who uses the camera to document and comment on the state of the world around her. A studio-trained photographer branching out into the world of documentary photography, she obtained an AAS and BFA in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After attending the Eddie Adams workshop, she soon fell in love with documentary photography and the beauty of observation and documentation. She currently works as a freelance events photographer and lighting assistant. Her recent work explores the relationship between people and devices, as well as the changing habits and commonalities in our society.
