Violet is an artist who uses her camera to document and comment on the state of the world around her. A studio-trained photographer branching out into the world of documentary photography, she got an AAS and BFA in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After attending the Eddie Adams workshop, she soon fell in love with documentary photography and the beauty of observation and photojournalism. Recent work explores the relationship between people and devices, as well as capturing the growing activism and organizations trying to make lasting change in our backwards society.
